ABOUT ROBOFLUX
Engineers beside engineers
RoboFlux is an AI robotics integration and automation-flow engineering studio headquartered at 89 Niagara Street in Toronto's Niagara / King West light-industrial district. We are a robotics consultancy — not a robot store, not a software product, and not a weapons maker. Our team scopes feasibility, builds perception and control systems, and commissions automation cells for mid-market Canadian manufacturing and warehousing operators.

THE LAB
Niagara Street, Suite 105
Our Toronto office houses integration benches, hardware-in-the-loop PLC and ROS rigs, camera calibration stations, and the cobot cells we tune before shipping code to client floors. Clients visit for feasibility workshops, perception model reviews, and operator training sessions. The lab is a working engineering space — not a showroom with polished demo parts under studio lighting.
Proximity to Ontario's manufacturing belt means we can be on your floor within a morning's drive for commissioning, troubleshooting, and the shift-observation sessions that reveal buffer starvation patterns no spreadsheet captures. When remote support suffices, we connect through secure channels with your IT team's approval — client production data stays under client control.
TEAM APPROACH
How we work with yours
RoboFlux engagements are staffed by senior robotics engineers, control systems specialists, and perception developers who have commissioned cells in food processing, automotive supply, general manufacturing, and warehousing environments. We do not parachute in a sales team followed by junior contractors. The engineers who scope your project are the engineers who tune your PLC handshakes and validate your computer vision pipeline on the production line.
Our method follows four stages — Sense, Plan, Integrate, Validate — but the sequencing flexes with your constraints. Some clients arrive with purchased hardware needing integration; others need feasibility analysis before any capital commitment. We meet you where the bottleneck actually lives, whether that is perception drift, motion planning latency, a WMS bridge that does not exist, or a safety fence layout that blocks maintenance access.
Documentation is part of the deliverable: runbooks for operators, parameter change logs for maintenance, functional safety evidence packages for your internal review, and the ROS launch files or PLC export archives your team needs for long-term ownership. We build systems your engineers can run — not dependency on our permanent presence.
RESPONSIBLE AI
What we build — and what we refuse
RoboFlux engineers civilian industrial robotics only. We do not design, integrate, or support weapons, autonomous weapons, or systems intended for surveillance of individuals. Our computer vision and sensor fusion work serves defect detection, pick-point estimation, navigation, and process monitoring — not facial recognition, behavioural tracking, or biometric identification of workers.
Machine learning and edge AI assist robot perception; they do not replace human engineers and operators in the loop. AI models can fail, misclassify, or drift as lighting and parts change. We design confidence thresholds, fallback procedures, and structured retraining triggers accordingly. No provider can guarantee zero incidents or a fully hands-off factory — workplace safety is a shared responsibility, and we say so plainly on every engagement.
Safety-critical work aligns with recognized standards including ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066, and applicable CSA requirements. We provide engineering evidence for your internal safety review; we are not a certification body and do not offer regulatory sign-off.

WHY .PRO
The domain, the name, the intent
RoboFlux operates on the .pro top-level domain, which is reserved for professional and professional-service registrants. That fits what we are: a professional robotics engineering and systems-integration practice, not a consumer-facing product or an e-commerce storefront. If you expected a self-serve SaaS platform or a robot catalogue with one-click purchasing, you have found an engineering studio instead.
The name combines Robo — the robotics systems we integrate, from cobots and AMR fleets to fixed automation cells — with Flux, meaning flow. Our core purpose is automation-flow engineering: making material, information, and control signals move through your line without the starvation events, perception gaps, and integration dead-ends that stall production. We tune the flux of your operation, not just the joints of a single arm.
RoboFlux Inc. is incorporated in Ontario, Canada. Business Number 713625849 RC0001. We invoice in CAD, host infrastructure in Canada, and handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA. Our phone line rings in Toronto: +1 (416) 508-3172.
