COOKIES
Cookie Policy
How roboflux.pro uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated 14 July 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function, remember preferences, and — with consent — understand how visitors use a site. Similar technologies include local storage entries and session identifiers stored in your browser.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies roboflux.pro uses, why we use them, how long they persist, which vendors are involved, and how you can control optional cookies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Who operates this website?
roboflux.pro is operated by RoboFlux Inc., 89 Niagara Street, Suite 105, Toronto, ON M5V 1C3, Canada. Privacy enquiries: [email protected].
3. Cookie categories
We group cookies into two categories based on purpose and consent requirements under PIPEDA and Canadian privacy best practice.
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They cannot be disabled through our cookie banner because the site would not operate correctly without them. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
They are used to:
- Remember your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit;
- Maintain basic session state for form security;
- Enable core navigation and page delivery.
3.2 Analytics cookies (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use roboflux.pro — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and whether traffic arrives from referrals. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you by name. Analytics cookies are placed only after you provide consent through our cookie banner or customise panel.
If you reject analytics cookies, no analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics identifiers are stored on your device.
4. Cookie inventory
The following table describes cookies and similar storage used on roboflux.pro:
Strictly necessary
- roboflux_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie preference (accept all, reject all, or custom). Duration: six (6) months. Vendor: RoboFlux (first-party). Type: local storage / cookie.
- roboflux_cookie_analytics — Records whether analytics consent was granted. Duration: six (6) months. Vendor: RoboFlux (first-party). Type: local storage / cookie.
Analytics (consent required)
- _plausible_id — Anonymous session identifier for page view counting. Duration: twenty-four (24) hours. Vendor: Plausible Analytics (privacy-oriented, EU-hosted). No cross-site tracking. IP addresses are not stored.
We select analytics vendors that minimise personal data collection, avoid cross-site profiling, and do not sell data to advertising networks. Our current analytics approach uses aggregated, privacy-oriented page view statistics only.
5. Consent mechanism
When you first visit roboflux.pro, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the screen offering three choices:
- Accept all: Strictly necessary cookies plus analytics cookies are enabled;
- Reject all: Only strictly necessary cookies are used; analytics is not loaded;
- Customise: Opens a panel where you can enable or disable analytics independently. Strictly necessary cookies remain always active.
Your choice is stored for six (6) months. After expiry, the banner reappears and you may make a new choice. You may change your preferences at any time by clearing site data in your browser and revisiting, or by contacting [email protected] for assistance.
6. How to opt out
You have several options to limit or disable cookies:
- Cookie banner: Click "Reject all" on first visit, or "Customise" and leave analytics unchecked;
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions;
- Do Not Track: We honour the absence of analytics consent. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a preference against analytics unless you explicitly accept via our banner;
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where supported, we interpret GPC signals as a rejection of optional analytics cookies.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair website functionality, including the ability to remember your consent choice.
7. Third-party vendors
RoboFlux uses a limited number of third-party services that may set cookies or process technical data:
- Plausible Analytics (optional, with consent) — Privacy-oriented website analytics. Processes aggregated page view data. Does not use persistent cross-site identifiers. Privacy policy available at plausible.io/privacy.
- Web hosting provider — Server access logs may record IP addresses, user agents, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes. Logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for marketing profiling.
We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or remarketing cookies on roboflux.pro.
8. Duration summary
- Consent preference storage: six (6) months;
- Analytics session identifier: twenty-four (24) hours;
- Server access logs: up to ninety (90) days unless required longer for security investigation.
9. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, change vendors, or adapt to legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Material changes that require renewed consent will be communicated through an updated cookie banner.
